Imagine more than 450 crafters and artists showing off their handiwork all in beautiful outdoor setting of Stone Mountain Park.
It’s the Yellow Daisy Festival and Arts & Crafts show, listed in Sunshine Artist Magazine’s annual “200 Best” survey, and it’s being held September 6-9 at Stone Mountain Park’s Special Events Meadow.
The Yellow Daisy Festival features artists from across the U.S. They are selected from a pool of applicants that create all kinds of goods out of pottery, fabric, painting, jewelry, sculpture, fiber, photography, fine arts, and traditional arts and crafts.
An estimated 200,000 shopping enthusiasts attend the four-day event, going home with one of a kind treats.
There’s also food available from the Happy Belly food truck and some incredible live entertainment. Performers on the festival’s main stage includes Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Shawn Mullins and NBC’s “The Voice” contestant Jordan Rager. Mullins, known for his 1998 hit single “Lullaby,” will perform Friday from 4:30 – 6 p.m. and Rager will perform Thursday from 4:40 – 6 p.m. Steel Magnolia, Country Music Television’s “Can You Duet?” winners will perform Saturday from 5:45 – 7 p.m. Singer-songwriters such as Dylan Altman, writer of Jake Owens’ “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” and others will perform Thursday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The festival main stage will feature 15 other live performances from bands such as the Yacht Rock Review, REMakes and Peachtree Station.
There’s also a Children’s Corner this year that will provide crafts, entertainment and face painting and a Men’s Den where guys can catch some football.
