One of the biggest issues I have with my son being away at college is his safety, so hearing about a murder on campus–even thought that campus is no where near my son’s–still stops my heart a bit. You can’t help but hurt for the mother, knowing it could have been you who got the call with such devastating news. The fact that I dealt with murder as a college student doesn’t help me cope any better as a parent. It’s the focus of today’s #vlogtoberfest topic.
