Keeping Cool at the World of Coca-Cola during Atlanta’s Hot Summer
One thing is clear about Atlanta in the summer, and that’s the fact that it’s HOT, but there are still lots of fun places to take the family that are cool (in more ways than one), including the World of Coca-Cola!
My family loves the World of Coca-Cola and the chance to sample so many unique flavors in the special lab. We’re equally excited to check out the newest exhibit, TheVault of the Secret Formula. You can learn about the story of the secret formula and all that has gone into it beyond the ingredients, including “125 years of history, special moments, memories and the timeless appeal associated with Coca-Cola”, according to its publicists.
It’s an interactive experience that lets you try matching the taste of Coca-Cola with a virtual Taste Maker or try your hand in protecting the secret in a full-body interactive game that takes you to many of the locations where the secret formula has been kept. Sounds fun, right?
And it’s high tech. They have QR codes (those little black and white boxes you can scan with your smart phone app to find out extra information about the exhibits) throughout the experience.
While you’re there, be sure to walk by the vending machines outside so you can see the “Happiness Machine”.
Want to check it out for yourself? We’re giving away a family four-pack of tickets (assuming two adult and two youth tickets, the total ticket value would be $56).
All you have to do is leave a comment below telling me what ingredient you think is the most critical in the secret formula. I’ll have no idea if you are right or wrong, so I’ll be picking a winner at random. You have until midnight EST on June 30th to enter. I’ll name the winner on July 1st.
(Special note to readers: My family was given a four pack to visit the World of Coca-Cola in exchange for sharing the information about the new exhibit. I was not otherwise compensated for the post and my opinions remain my own.)

I don’t know what ingredient, but something like a hint of cocoa that makes it taste great.

Not sure what secret ingredients it has, but I miss the real sugar. Anyway, could there be ginger in the formula? Certainly many drinks at the time had ginger and it would have been a good ingredient to start the mix.

I have no idea what the secret ingredient is. I can’t even dissect a cookie…so Coke is far from my skills. We have lived here 6 years and never been to the World of Coke. We would love to win passes!
