Verizon Rhyme–A Camera Posing as a Phone
OK, so the Verizon Rhyme isn’t really a camera posing as a phone, but it might as well be. It’s an awesome camera. With the panoramic feature, it is superior over most other camera phones I’ve used, and I have to admit I’ve used quite a few. I loved the images from the other phones and am always surprised at the quality when I have the right factors (good lighting especially). But the Rhyme doesn’t require a perfect setting. You can play with the settings in the phone and get the kinds of features you pay big bucks for in “real” cameras.
I used the HTC Verizon Rhyme while I was on the Disney Fantasy cruise recently, as well as during a trip to Stone Mountain, GA, and loved the images. Seriously. I had my big $1200 camera with me, but it’s a little bulky and not always handy, so being able to whip this out for quick pics was incredibly convenient.
I have to send this camera back after the quick review, but I’m regretting it. Nope, I never made a call on it. But I’m going to hate not having it handy for photos.
