Samsung Galaxy S III from Verizon Wireless–Swapping Photos
As a Verizon Wireless Ambassador, we’re given different devices to review every couple months, and this time we’re working with the Samsung Galaxy S III. All I knew about this device before it was sent was what I had seen in a TV commercial–the one where a family is in the waiting room for a new baby to be born and they are able to instantly share a photo. I thought that was pretty cool, so getting a Galaxy S III was kind of a neat treat. Unfortunately, we only get one each, so until I’m around another person with the S III, I’m out of luck in terms of photo sharing. However, I did get to see how it works first hand at a recent conference where Samsung had a booth set up to show off its latest technology.
One of their reps was kind enough to do it on video, as you’ll see below. It uses a card in the back of the phone to share with other Galaxy S IIIs. Ignore the black cable on the back of the phone she’s using–she explained that’s just there to make sure nobody at the conference could walk off with the phone without an alarm going off (these phones are in high demand!).
And just wait until you see the other cool things this phone is capable of…from running a clothes washer while you’re gone to getting grocery lists from your refrigerator…no kidding! I’ll be doing weekly updates!
