Medieval Times Atlanta Fights for the Cause (and #Giveaway)
When you think of medieval knights, odds are breast cancer isn’t the next topic that comes to mind, but at Medieval Times in Atlanta, your support on their Facebook page could equal money to help find a cure.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Medieval Times, Atlanta has joined the FIGHT FOR THE CAUSE! If the Medieval Times, Atlanta Facebook page reaches 4,000 ‘Likes’ by October 31, the castle will donate $1,000 to Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University.
And, here’s an extra bonus for you. If you ‘Like’ the Medieval Times Atlanta Facebook page and leave a comment below telling me about someone you love who has fought cancer, you may win four tickets to attend a show!
You have until Oct. 25th at midnight EST to leave your comment. I’ll draw a winner at random on Oct. 26th. Good luck…in the contest, and, more importantly, in the fight against cancer!

I have been so fortunate that none of my family has dealt with cancer. But my friend Sarun has been fighting cancer for several years and thankfully she is winning that battle. It hurts to know that someone you care about deeply is dealing with something and there’s not much you can do about it. My heart goes out to everyone who has to battle this issue whether personally or having to be the strong support for a family member who is dealing with the illness.

Good luck to her. I lost my father to cancer. It’s such a heartless, horrible disease.
