Giving Tuesday and Georgia Gives Day
You made it through Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday, and Cyber Monday…but what are you going to do for Giving Tuesday? This day marks a national effort to recognize the importance of charitable giving.
You can pick charities on a national level or within your own community. You can choose to help people, pets, or any other cause that makes your heart swell.
The point is to give.
Already missed it for this week? No worries.
There’s still Georgia Gives Day on December 6th. It’s a day of giving initiative to encourage Georgians to give back where we live. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for Georgia nonprofits in a 24-hour period on December 6.
You get to select your charity of choice and all donations go directly to the participating nonprofits. It all goes through GAGivesDay.org so everyone can see the amount as it grows.
Not sure of a charity? I personally adore SafeKidsGa.org. I’ve even set up a page on the GAGivesDay site so that you can make a donation to help children in need. As little as $10 can make all the difference.
Easy-peezy, right?
