Trying to Lose Weight? Read SHRED Revolutionary Diet
If one of your New Year’s Resolutions was to get your body into shape, you may want to check out the new SHRED Revolutionary Diet book by Dr. Ian Smith. I was sent the book to review recently and the timing was perfect.
I’m working on dropping some pounds and building a few muscles before a half-marathon I signed up for a couple months ago.
It’s happening six weeks from now. So, this six-week program he promotes is ideal (hey, I can do anything as long as I know when it ends!).
And the “four meals or meal replacements and three snacks a day” rule works for me, too.
Dr. Ian believes meal spacing is the key, along with proper snacking techniques, to keeping your caloric intake low.
He builds your confidence, convincing you that just because you failed in the past, that doesn’t mean you’re not destined to lose weight if you’re willing to try doing it his way.
The plan is broken down into weeks, from Challenge to Transformation, Ascend Cleanse, among others.
He points out that dieting is 80 percent mental and 20 percent physical. He spells out your options while keeping it simple to follow.
And of course he incorporates fitness, too, but still provides a variety of choices so that you keep control and can do the things you think work best for you.
Heck, he even includes all of the recipes in the back to the smoothies that he recommends.
The cover promises you’ll lose four inches and two sizes if you give his plan six weeks.
I’ll let you know how it works for me six weeks from now.
Want to try it out with me? SHRED Revolutionary Diet was released on December 24th and is available by clicking here.
