MyFitU Giveaway, Time to Get in Shape
(Note to readers: I was provided a one-year subscription in exchange for this post, along with one to give away to a reader. My opinion remains my own.)
I’ve struggled with my weight as long as I can remember. Even when I was thin, I thought I was fat. I blame that on my brothers, who used to tease me, calling me fatty when I hit the 8th grade and my body grew out instead of up.
The height came by 9th grade and the weight settled into the right proportions again, but I never saw a slender figure when I looked in the mirror. I just saw fat.
I can’t really blame my brothers anymore, though.
I truly don’t know what I look like until I see photos. Sometimes, I look back at pictures and think I looked incredible, but I never remember liking the way I looked at the time.
I did a good job getting in shape the year I turned 40, running a half marathon and then a triathlon. I lost 38 pounds that year (two pounds shy of my goal of 40, but by that point I realized it was just a number on the scale).
I have since put most of that weight back on, a promise that I broke to myself.
I will always consider that a BIG FAT FAIL.
Now, I’m trying again to get my body back in shape. I have no excuses.
I’m turning to MyFitU.com for help.
A one-year membership was offered to me to review recently and I figured it was exactly what I needed to get serious about fitness again.
MyFitU is the program put together by Daniel Meng, fitness trainer to the country stars, including Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, up-and-comers Krystal Keith and Patrik Wayne.
I don’t know about you, but I think Jake Owen is in pretty good shape, so whatever this guy is doing for him, I’ll happily have done to me.
The fitness program is more than just a workout.
It’s like your online personal trainer, offering exercises and meal plans to fit in your schedule and lifestyle.
You start by answering a couple questions about your life and your goal for your body, how much sleep you get and how stressed out you feel.
The program is thorough. The meal plan is massive, including snacks, grocery lists and more.
There are apps you can download so that you can do the exercises anywhere.
Or, you can follow them on your computer, clicking your way through as you finish each set of repetitions.
I’m partial to the ‘butt kickers’, but that’s probably because I needed a butt kicking.
Guess what? You can visit https://myfitu.com to start your free, two-week trial, and also to see what superstar Kenny Chesney has to say about Daniel! And check this out–they’ve given me a one-year membership to give away, too.
If you want to win, just comment below and let me know what’s been holding you back from your own butt-kicking workout.
You have until midnight EST on June 27th to enter. I’ll contact the winner after that. You must be 18 to enter.
Good luck!
