Macy’s Pink Pig Opens for Another Holiday Season
Atlanta means all kinds of things to me…sweet tea and even sweeter people…and THE PINK PIG during the holidays!
That’s right. The 2013 Macy’s Pink Pig opens to the public on Saturday, November 2nd. Kids who come out this Saturday (Nov 2nd) and bring a DVD will get a complimentary ride. All DVDs (they can be new or used) will be donated to Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta.
Priscilla the Pink Pig is an Atlanta tradition…something several generations of children have enjoyed.
The kids ride a pig-like-train through a life-sized storybook filled with friends and fun, all under the signature 170-foot, 1950’s themed Pink Pig Tent.
The ride will remain open through Sunday, January 5, 2014, closing only for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Each ride costs $3 and repeat rides have a special discounted price (2 rides for $5.50, 3 rides for $7.50). A portion of the proceeds from each ride will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
