Need Holiday Meal Ideas? HoneyBaked Ham Celebrates One Meal at a Time
(Note to Readers: I was invited to tour the HoneyBaked Ham facilities and was provided lunch while there, along with a gift bag. I was not otherwise compensated and my opinion remains my own. #HoneyBakedHoliday)
The holidays are almost here and that means I need to get into gear on everything from gifts to the meal on Christmas night.
I have most of the presents handled by now, and I’m feeling better about the meal part, too, after spending an afternoon at the HoneyBaked Ham headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, last week.
I got to meet with the CEO of the company and learn everything from the history of the spiral slicing machine (they hold the patent!) to the company belief to ‘Celebrate life one meal at a time’. I can support that notion.
I also got to sample some of the world-famous food, including some yummy additions to the menu. For example, there are three new soups available at HoneyBaked Ham stores in Georgia (with future launch dates around the country), including Ham & Bean, Broccoli, Ham & Cheddar, and Roasted Turkey Noodle.
I always knew I could go pick up a ham or turkey at my area HoneyBaked Ham store, but I also learned they cater, too. And, they have gift shipments. In fact, they fill nearly a quarter of a million gift orders every year. Or, you can pick up a Rum Cake Sampler or a HoneyBaked Signature Glazed Pecan Tin in the store and surprise a party host. Want a yummy appetizer? Try the new Ham & Cheese Bites (so, soooo good).
But their ‘bread and butter’, so to speak, is the fully cooked, ready to serve ham. The fact that I don’t have to slave away in the kitchen for hours is as sweet as that crunchy glaze on the outside of the ham.
So, HoneyBaked Ham is going to be the centerpiece of my Christmas meal this year. I still have to figure out if I want the turkey or the ham, but there’s time for that still, right?

I plan on ordering Honey Baked Ham sides this year for Christmas dinner. Wish I had done this for Thanksgiving!!!
