Dolphin Tale Movie Sequel in Production, Hope the Dolphin joins Winter the Dolphin as Star

Fans of the movie Dolphin Tale are going to want to meet Hope, the star of Dolphin Tale 2, currently being filmed in Clearwater, Florida, where Winter the dolphin gained fame.

Dolphin Tale 2 centers on the journey of Hope, another dolphin in distress, and will star the same characters who were featured in the first blockbuster, played by Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA).

Dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and when possible, the release of sea creatures big and small, the CMA provides visitors exclusive opportunities to learn more about their efforts.  My family toured the facility before the first movie was released.  Since then, a new facility has replaced the old, but the mission remains the same.

In fact, the entire region is family friendly.  Clearwater Beach is consistently ranked among America’s most beautiful and the city is also home to a wide variety of sporting and music events, including Philadelphia Phillies Spring Training and the annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday.
