This Is Not Your Daddy’s Circus–Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey

(Note to readers: I was provide a four pack of tickets to watch this circus in order to properly review the performance.  As always, my opinion remains my own.)

“Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!”  Those are the words I remember hearing while watching the circus as a kid, but that circus has come a long way through the years.

In fact, at this year’s Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus, I didn’t even see any lions or bears.  Yes, there were tigers.  Elephants, too.  And dogs who could do the most amazing tricks!

You’ll still see a person shot from a cannon.  And clowns. Lots of clowns.

But now, you’ll see some other amazing things, like acrobats who show off their incredible strength by balancing other people from their various limbs, sometimes on poles at death-defying heights.

I don’t want to give it all away, but there are other mind-blowing things to see at the ‘Built to Amaze’ show.

If you haven’t been to a circus in a while, you should go again.  I think you’ll be impressed.
