Making Magical Memories at Disneyworld
My family is as busy as it gets with sports and school and work and life, so when I had the chance to attend a conference for social media moms AT DISNEYWORLD that had the option of including the entire family I was flying as high as Dumbo when he first discovered his super-ear talent. We told the kids at Christmas and my youngest started counting down days. Now, we’re here and being treated like honorary members of the Mickey Mouse Club, with special gifts every time we turn around (Disney bags, balls, bears, blankets, picture frames, coolers–it’s some serious swag!) and parties for the families that include the characters. So, Thursday night we got to party on the beach at the Grand Floridian with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. Last night we were dancing at Hollywood Studios stunt lot with Daisy, Captain Hook, Smeed, Handy Manny (he can dance!), and Jake–an adorable pirate that’s part of a new series being launched on Disney Jr. Today, the middle two kiddos are taking part in an athletic game show contest with some Disney channel celebrities at Epcot and who knows who will show up the party there tonight?! All this fun is really helping reconnect this family of six and turning my children into bloggers because they just love the perks! Hey, if it gets them writing I’m a happy mom. Thank you Disney for the royal treatment. The Miller family is creating some magical memories that will last our entire lifetime.

Glad to hear you had fun! My family and I are frequent guests at Walt Disney World (I’m a travel agent specializing in Disney vacations so it’s a “job requirement” – fortunately the kids don’t mind!). We’re a family of 5 and like you, I’m sure, I feel like between my husband and I both busy with work and volunteer stuff and the kids all in different activities, we are all constantly running in different directions. Our vacations have done wonders for getting everyone reconnected. Just having all that time to focus on nothing but having fun together does a family good!
