Your Vote Could Bring Children’s Author Jan Brett to Little River Elementary School
It’s always neat when an author is able to read their book to fans, especially when the author is someone as well-known as Jan Brett! My daughter’s school, Little River Elementary in Woodstock, Georgia, is hoping to win a contest that would bring Jan Brett to their school soon. The contest requires you to “like” her on Facebook, but also to go to www.janbrett.com and vote for: Little River Elem, Woodstock, GA, 30188. There’s only one week left in the contest and we were number one–up until this week! Please take a minute and help us out with this. Imagine the thrill these little ones will have hearing their favorite books come alive with the author reading the stories to them in person! Aw, thanks Doris. You are the most amazing supporter of our children…I’m happy to do anything I can to make this happen for them! I personally think it’d be amazing to see a children’s book about the sweet lady in the front office at school that makes all the children feel so welcome and loved every day…Miss Doris!

Hi, Desiree! I tried to vote but I can’t figure out where to vote on her web site. I see the list of front runners and an link to enter but when I click on the link to enter, it takes me back to her facebook page – which I already “liked”?

If you can get to her fan page there should be a link on the left that says Jan Brett Free School or Library Visit. If you have that link, click on it. It should say Enter Sweepstakes! You’ll click on that to fill in the info for Little River Elementary! I’m trying to remember what it looked like when I voted! I hope this helps!! We really appreciate your vote! 🙂
