‘The Grinch’ Reads Us His Special Book
If you love “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, imagine how great it would be to hear the Grinch actually read the book to you. My daughter and I got to experience that thrill at an appearance by the Grinch in Atlanta this weekend. Afterwards, he answered questions from the kids. Their number one question? “Where’s Max, your dog?” The Grinch let him know he was back home at the cave.
The holiday-hating green guy was in town promoting his performances in the Broadway musical version of the book. “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Musical” will be playing at the Fox Theatre from November 29-December 4 as part of the Broadway Across America experience. Tickets are already on sale and you can get yours by clicking here.
Meantime, if you can make it to any of the following locations in Atlanta today (Sunday, October 23rd), you may bump into the Grinch (and don’t worry, he’ll sign autographs and take his picture with you—just don’t expect him to smile!).
Zoo Atlanta’s Boo at the Zoo (11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.) The Grinch will stop by to meet fans and take photos; he’ll also see what he can do to keep the Halloween costume contest from happening! Boo at the Zoo takes place from 10:00 a.m.-3 p.m. Zoo Atlanta is located at 800 Cherokee Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 Taste of Atlanta (3:30-5:30 p.m.) The Grinch will take his plot to stop Christmas to the streets of Atlanta, visiting Taste of Atlanta attendees as they celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary. Visitors should be on the lookout – he may even try to steal the show at the food festival! Taste of Atlanta is located at the intersection of 5th and Spring Street.
