What Do You See Here?–Wordless Wednesday
Cake making is kind of a hobby in my house. It’s what I do with my youngest when she says she’s bored. She likes to pour in and mix the ingredients, lick the bowl (and the mixer twisty things–what do they call those anyway?), and loves to decorate when it’s done (her older sister took cake decorating classes with her MeMe so it’s kind of an art form in our house). Anyway, Sunday morning we made this cake and my six year old daughter had me leave the room as she decorated it by herself so she could surprise me with what she created. When she finished, she asked if I could tell what it was. “Of course! It’s a sunset!”, I told her and she beamed with pride.

How sweet that she wanted to surprise you. I love the sunset from your sunshine. Isn’t this a great age?

That’s awesome! We do a lot of cake making around here too! Cupcakes mostly! When Natalie hears the oven, no matter what’s in there, she says “Tup-Take!” 🙂

Love it! I really don’t enjoy cooking but baking is entirely different to me. Maybe because I prefer desserts.
