If you live near or visit Atlanta often, you are most likely already aware of the fun your family can have at Stone Mountain, but in the winter, the attraction takes a chilly turn, offering up a treat for kids of all ages known as Snow Mountain. With school out for the holiday break, my children are counting down the days until they get to go to Snow Mountain and live like our neighbors to the north, tubing through the snow, making snow angels, even making s’mores by a campfire.
We don’t get snow that often down this way, so Snow Mountain is a real treat. We’ll be posting a review after the trip this weekend, but I’m sure there are moms and dads out there looking to keep their little ones busy and happy and this is exactly the kind of entertainment that will accomplish both. In my mind, spending a day like this is much better than the morning of unwrapping toys–I know my kids will always remember a morning at Snow Mountain. I can’t say the same about the toy part.
If you’d like to do the same, you can book tickets in advance (it’s highly recommended) and find out more by checking the site here. Have fun…maybe we’ll see you out there!
