Families waiting for LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta to open in March can go ahead and get tickets now. The PR company for the attraction tells me it’s looking like it’s going to be a really popular attraction based on ticket sales so far, and asks that you be patient when placing orders over the next few days.
LEGOLAND opens March 17 in Phipps Plaza. For a limited time only, LEGO lovers can save up to $6.50 per person when they visit the attraction’s website to purchase single tickets for $12.50. That includes entrance to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta and unlimited admission to all of the attractions, including the rides and 4D cinema. To receive the exclusive discount, select “March Onwards” in the booking calendar when you buy your tickets.
Ticket is valid for one-day, adult admission to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta attraction. The time-slot shown on each ticket is the mandatory arrival time. Once guests are in the Center, they may stay for as long as they like.
And here’s an interesting note: LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a children’s attraction and adults will not be admitted in to LEGOLAND Discovery Center unless they are visiting with a child/children. Beginning in May, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta will host an adult night on the second Thursday of every month.
Some background info from the publicists:
This will be the third LEGOLAND Discovery Center in the United States. Described as stepping into the biggest box of LEGO bricks in the world, the $15 million, 30,000-square-foot interactive attraction will feature a MINILAND exhibit which recreates landmark buildings in Atlanta out of LEGO bricks, hands-on play areas, a 4D Cinema, master classes from the LEGO Master Model Builder, LEGO rides and special party rooms for birthdays and other celebrations. This highly interactive and educational two-to-three hour indoor experience is ideal for families with children.
