Miley Cyrus Engaged to Hunger Games’ Liam Hemsworth

Well, ladies, it’s official…Liam Hemsworth is off the market.

Yes, I acknowledge I was too old for him.  And I am married.  But he won me over when I met him on the mall tour he was part of promoting Hunger Games.  He’s handsome.  He’s funny.  He is kindhearted in a way that you don’t expect others in Hollywood to be, saying kind things about his cast mates and so obviously meaning them.

And now, he’s officially going to marry Miley Cyrus (I’ll have to source this to People magazine since neither Miley or Liam called me directly to share the news…not sure why).  Considering she’s just 19 and he’s 22, they face all those celebrity challenges, and both have others falling at their feet (not me anymore, I promise), I imagine it’s going to be a tough relationship to keep together, but I wish them both the best.

There’s nothing as hopeful as young love.

As a mom, I’m cringing at their young ages.  What do you think?  Is 19 too soon for a wedding band?  What would you say if this was your child?
