My Spunky Inspiration- A Mini Fashionista
When I was young, people described me as spunky. Not cute, not pretty, not smart and not athletic, but spunky. I could live with that. Spunky, to me, meant I would go with the flow with a smile on my face, making the most of whatever situation and adding a little kick to it.
My daughter is taking spunky up a notch.
Check out her latest “must-have” pair of shoes.
Her momma (yep, me) lives in flip flops. I am so NOT cool. I am comfortable. I am casual. I am the gal in the background taking it all in, people watching and enjoying the show. It appears my daughter is planning to be front and center, at least when it comes to fashion. I’m not sure where she gets it. Most definitely not my side of the family.
This child has spunk with a side dose of bling.
And I love it. Maybe she’ll get me living a little more on the edge, too, at least when it comes to fashion. She’s my spunky inspiration.
(Note to readers: If your daughter sees this and decides she MUST have a pair, we bought these at The Children’s Place for about $30. They do not sell adult sizes. This post is not sponsored in any way. Just thought I’d share a morning in my life.)

Madelyn thinks she would love those shoes but man.. she would get so frustrated with tying them. She’s not a big fan of tying shoes. She looks adorable in that outfit and those shoes. She’s spunky alright!
