Murder on Campus–Coming Full Circle #Vlogtober
One of the biggest issues I have with my son being away at college is his safety, so hearing about a murder on campus–even thought that campus is no where near my son’s–still stops my heart a bit. You can’t help but hurt for the mother, knowing it could have been you who got the call with such devastating news. The fact that I dealt with murder as a college student doesn’t help me cope any better as a parent. It’s the focus of today’s #vlogtoberfest topic. This story just breaks my heart. Prayers going out to the families… I hope I can handle it when my little guy goes off to college– in 14 years!!!

So sad for the family of the student. Amazed that you stayed there and covered the stories. It makes sense that you would want to cover it, but yes – scary and I’m sure your parents were really worried.
Praying your son will be safe.
