My Mad Scientist–a Spooky Wordless Wednesday
My youngest LOVES science experiments and creates her own all of the time. She simply grabs a glass/vase/whatever else is handy and then fills it with random things she finds around the kitchen and pantry.
From cake sprinkles to dish soap, hot sauce and snow cone syrup, the gal throws it all in there. Then she’ll cover it with a napkin and rubberband and let it sit.
Days, weeks, months later she checks on her concoctions. In my mind, this is a pretty gross hobby, but I have to give her credit for creativity. Plus, science was always my worst subject. Maybe she’ll be more fortunate in that department. Who knows what she’ll create?!

Our middle daughter used to do the same thing…unfortunately, it was on the bathroom floor, not in a glass.
Has anything fun happened?

Well, they always grow mold. I figure it’s ok because it’s covered. The hubby disagrees.

I used to do the same thing in the bathroom cup growing up. Looking back, not my most brilliant moment since main ingredients were shaving cream and after shave lotion! lol

I’d be scared to discover something scary!

My policy is to never take off her napkin/rubberband lid. 🙂

That’s awesome! Unless, of course, it starts to smell funky 😉 Good thing you are a patient and supportive mama!

It was covered so it didn’t bother me…it does bug my hubby, though…he tosses them when he thinks she won’t notice. She always notices.
