Atlanta Braves “Toy for a Tour”–You Give and You Get
If you have a Braves fan in your family, here’s a fun way for them to give back during the holiday season AND get a little something special, too. Take them to the Braves Museum.
The Braves Museum is offering “Toys for a Tour”. Children who bring a donation of a new and unwrapped toy get a free guided tour of Turner Field. It’s offered until December 22 to children 13 and under (when accompanied by an adult) who donate a toy to the Atlanta Braves Foundation. The offer is valid for up to four children with toys per one paid adult. Complimentary tours are for walk-up tickets only (excludes pre-booked groups). Walk-up tickets are $12 and can be purchased inside the Braves Museum at Turner Field.
The PR group for the Braves tell us, “The Museum is the starting point of the tours, featuring more than 700 Braves artifacts and photographs tracing the team’s history from its beginnings in Boston, to Milwaukee and eventually to Atlanta. The tours allow fans access to many areas that are off limits during games, including the Braves press box, broadcast booth, clubhouse and dugout. Since its inception in 1992, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has provided support and resources to thousands of metro Atlanta-based organizations and has contributed more than $3.5 million in financial assistance to the community”.
