Take a Trip ‘Under the Sea’ with Ariel at New Fantasyland

Ariel had the life…at least that’s what I always thought as a kid.

I would have swapped places with her in a heartbeat.

She got to live under the sea.

That’s where I wanted to be.

I loved swimming, holding my breath as long as possible, checking all the shells and fish and anything else I could find in the great beyond.

Sometimes I would pretend I had her cool pals Sebastian and Flounder to keep me occupied.

But alas, I always had to come up for air, and the game was over.

But I can be that kid again at the New Fantasyland ride where you ride a shell through Ariel’s world ‘Under the Sea’.

Check out the video from when my daughter and I took a ride through at the grand opening celebration.

This ride reminded me a lot of It’s a Small World with all the music and dancing everywhere you looked during one particular part of the ride.  Tell me if you think the same thing!
