Getting Ready for Some Outdoor Fun with Beacon Audio Phoenix
I am so tired of this cold weather and so ready for some sunshine, along with lots of relaxation on my back porch, where I’m counting on lots of afternoons relaxing with great music and fruity drinks (yes, with my trademark coconut rum that makes me feel like I’ve been transported to an island somewhere).
I don’t have any desire to drag speakers out of the house, or worry about where I’ll need to plug them in outdoors. I want something simple. And that’s exactly what Beacon Audio Phoenix provides with its fun little cube of sound-on-the-go.
I was sent one to review and thought it was so stinkin’ small there was no way it would produce great sound. I was wrong.
And, it’s super easy to set up. I’m no tech guru, and I get intimidated by this stuff, but I seriously just followed the handful of instructions in the quick setup manual and was ready to roll.
I just had to turn on the bluetooth wireless capabilities on my phone and push a single button on the speaker and that was it. I had it grooving to my most recent Grammy album that I downloaded for times when I want to mix up my music assortment. The instructions say it’ll last 8 hours. I haven’t tested that part out yet, but I’m good if it even lasts half that long. I think it’s pretty cool that it’s so small that I can throw it in my purse and use it when I travel, too.
I’m so excited to put this to use, and for my own sanity, I really hope it’s soon.
The warm weather cannot come soon enough.
When you go get your cool new umbrella and chairs for your back yard this season, make sure you add this to your expenses. It’s about $100 and will make every weekend a party.
(Note to readers: I was provided a Beacon Audio Phoenix to be able to properly review it for this post. I was not otherwise compensated and my opinion remains my own.)
