The most important thing I learned during this pregnancy is my vitamin and food intake and how important it is to get all essential nutrients in your diet to provide optimal health for my baby. I’m loving Sardines, avocados and spinach this pregnancy! I know my baby appreciates them also 🙂

The most important thing I learned was to not push myself. There was a lot I couldn’t do that I could do before being pregnant. I had to think about how my body had changed and also to not do anything that would harm my baby

The most important thing I learned is to enjoy every moment – even in your ninth month of pregnancy. So many women are unable to conceive and will never be able to feel those aches and those twinges and those pains. They’re also unable to feel the flutters and the hiccups and the rolls that often make us smile. So enjoy every moment of the pregnancy – even when you’re miserable …… it’s definitely a blessing!

The most important thing I learned was to eat well and take it all in day by day. Every day brings you closer to the wonderful day your child will be born. And everything you eat makes them grow into wonderful beings!

The most important thing that I learned during my pregnancy was no matter how awful I felt or how much sleep I lost during the last month that it was all worth it in the end. All of the pain goes away the minute I see that precious baby and I knew it was all worth it. I truly felt blessed.

I think the biggest thing I learned during my pregnancy was…we can think we have it all planned out, but sometimes we have to go with the flow and change the birth plan that we had all planned out and just be happy that our blessing made it here safe and sound!

One of the things you can do during your pregnancy is get a little excercise if you are not having any health issues. Even a short walk every day will help physically and it lifts your spirits also.

The most important thing I’ve learned during my pregnancy is to make sure you stay hydrated. Drinking more water than required of a non-pregnant person is essential to making sure that I don’t feel run-down, tired and it helps to keep me from overeating, just because I’m eating for two!

I learned that you need to make sure you are drinking a lot of water. When you don’t have enough your whole day feels crumby. Also some days you just need to allow yourself to take a nap when your toddler does.

I learned to take it easy. Pregnancy is hard work, and mothers cannot run themselves all over the place during this special time. After several hospitalizations and being put on bed rest, I learned that I need to allow others to care for me… and that’s ok!

The most important thing I am learning from this pregnancy is that there is no one right way to do anything. You can read all the baby books, magazine articles, online blogs about pregnancy and raising a newborn, but you really just have to go with your own Motherly instincts at the end of the day. It’s OK not to be perfect because there really is no such thing… I am simply just enjoying the ride and anticipating my new bundle with happiness and excitement! 🙂

Most people mean well and even though their comments can be annoying, it doesn’t do you or your baby any good to stress out about them. Just smile and change the subject! 🙂

I would say a lesson that I’ve learned is that its not about me anymore! Its all about my son coming soon to this world and being able to teach him the best I can. Knowing I can’t protect him from everything no matter how much I want to. Knowing that I’m responsible for another life and it will not be easy but I would not change a thing about my new life changing experience! He will now be the air I breathe, the reason I will wake up everyday, and a new spot in my heart that I will fight for!

I learned to listen to my body. I was stubborn at first but as I got further along I realized I needed to slow down a listen to my bodies signs that I need rest. I learned that it doesnt matter if I didnt get something done right away because the baby and my health were the most important thing in having a successful healthy pregnancy. With the help and support of my husband guiding me through each pregnancy I was able to have a healthy pregnancy with each of my girls. I learned never be afraid to ask for help while pregnant or after having baby. My husband was the best ever in helping me do all the chores, and even going to each and every Dr. Appt. If I needed anything my husband was right their to help me no matter what it was.

I am expecting our 3rd baby due at the end of this year. Through my pregnancies I learned that it’s okay to take time and focus on myself. I am a very busy person and spend time working and doing things for others. Being pregnant made me realize that my body is very important and taking time to care for it is a priority. Weather it’s taking a rest, or enjoying a nice home cooked meal, I know that I’m doing good for me and baby. Putting myself first means putting baby first.

Being a mother is rewarding in itself, but some days you need to remind yourself what a great job you are doing with a reward for yourself! Also eating healthy and staying hydrated was super important!! Still is important along with getting sleep when you can!
