It’s Time for Take-off: PLANES is in Theaters Today #DisneyPlanes
(Note to readers: I was hosted by Disney Studios to help review and promote the movie. I was not otherwise compensated and my opinions remain my own. #disneyplanespremiere #spon)
Secure your seatbelt, turn off all electronics and put your tray tables up…it’s time to take off with Disney’s PLANES, out in theaters today, August 9th.
I was lucky enough to be able to watch the movie with the actors and crew who created the movie during its Hollywood premiere and I can tell you, it’s a good one. Everyone asks me if it’s as good as CARS and I have to say it’s even better. Yes, even better!
I explain what the movie is all about in this post on The Divine Miss Mommy.
Once you read that, be sure to check back here for the rundown of fun, high-flying adventures related to the movie that your children can enjoy.
Check out Disney.com’s FlewTube. Including:

Another option: Games the kids can play on the web, taking flight with the characters from PLANES.
Propwash Pursuit –Take control of Dusty and fly around Propwash Junction in an adventure game for Desktop
Jetstream Racers –Available on desktop, tablet, and mobile, help Dusty navigate courses and collect points to earn achievements and unlock characters
Have fun…and when you see the movie, let me know which character ends up being your favorite. I’m a Chupacabra fan! Although I also love the two fighter jets you see in the photo above…mainly because the voices for their characters are Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards, the two actors who gained fame in Top Gun. Pretty cool, right?
