Under Armour Sunglasses Offer Eye Protection for Kids (#Giveaway)
I got back on the tennis courts this week for a great doubles match and can’t tell you how great the sun felt on my shoulders, but also was quickly reminded how blinding it can be when I’m trying to hit the perfect overhead shot.
A great pair of sunglasses can make all the difference, not just for me on the courts, but also for my kids when they’re doing what they love, all year long, outdoors. From tennis to marching band, the sun takes its toll.
That’s why I think the new Under Armour Sunglasses for kids are so amazing.
A rep from the company reached out last week, sending me a sample of the new collection of performance eyewear for kids. They feature all the technology that the glasses for adults have. That means they have impact-resistant lenses and are ultra-lightweight, and also include protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Plus, they look cool.
Young eyes need eye protection just as much as adults do, but our kids don’t always realize what a difference a great pair of sunglasses can make.
I wanted to see how these sunglasses did for myself, so, during my tennis match this week, I threw on a pair that the company sent me. They were the youth model, so they were a little smaller on my face, but super comfortable and definitely provided the coverage that any athlete counts on when playing during daylight hours.
The sunglasses are priced around fifty bucks. If you think your kid can keep up with them, I’d bet they’d last them through several sports seasons.
The company sent one pair for me (my children) to try, and another for a giveaway. So, please comment below and let me know what sport your kid would use them for while wearing them. Comment by 4/4/14 and I’ll pick a winner at random on 4/5. The winner must be in the US and over 18 years of age. Good luck!

My child plays soccer. We have been looking around for sunglasses too that would make it easier for him to play.

My son plays travel baseball for the East Cobb Legends and these green sunglasses match his team colors. I know if he had a pair, the whole team would buy them too.
