Football, Concert and Theater Tickets for Less: Score Big #Review
I’m feeling like I’ve just scored big with a new site I discovered that hooked me up with tickets to the Atlanta Falcons vs Miami Dolphins football game in the fall…a game that I know would have cost at least a hundred bucks a ticket by the time I got around to buying them, but through the site, cleverly called ScoreBig.com, I got both tickets for $100 total.
It’s a double win in my book because I intend to use the tickets as a birthday gift for my son who loves watching the Dolphins play, and we will get to do it here in Atlanta (saving me all the travel expenses it would have taken to send him to a game in South Florida).
I didn’t really understand the concept when the site’s pr group contacted me about trying it out. They agreed to give me a voucher of $100 to use on the site in order to properly review how it works. I agreed to give it a whirl…and I’m glad I did.
Here’s what I learned:
When it comes to concerts, athletic competitions and other events that require tickets, ScoreBig works a bit like PriceLine does for travel. You just name the price you want to pay for that particular event. Once you choose the event and input your info, including your proposed price, the site will kick you back seats if your amount is enough to meet seats that are available. You find out right away—right on the spot! You are guaranteed to save money off the normal ticketing price. There aren’t any extra fees included and it’s a free delivery on the tickets.
You get to pick the section where you’d like to sit—and pay based on where those seats are (I’m the kind of gal who doesn’t need to be on the first row—I just want to be in the venue, but my kids like getting as close to the action as possible.).
The site offers tickets in several major cities, so it’s easy to book tickets for events in other towns, too.
Now that I have the first purchase made, I’m eager to try again. I just have to figure out which concert I want to see, or what other hot-ticket event I would have otherwise skipped.
How about you? What would you want to see if you could get the tickets for a lot less than face value? Check out the site and let me know…and let me know if you end up scoring big, too!
