(VIDEO) College Football Hall of Fame Set to Open in Atlanta

We all know college football is HUGE in the South, and now, Atlanta, Georgia, is home to the shrine of all things awesome in the sport with the opening of the College Football Hall of Fame. 

The 94,256 square foot building is located adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center on Marietta Street, next to Centennial Olympic Park and near the Georgia Dome.

I was able to get a look inside before it opened as part of a media day and have to say, you are going to LOVE it!! The best way to explain it is like an interactive, personalized high-tech museum.  The video below will show you what I mean.

If you’re not sure whether it’s something you’ll enjoy, know that this is designed for more than the die-hard college football fans among us.  Everyone, young and old, sports fan or not, will find something they will enjoy.

Tickets are available online or at the door.  Definitely check online before you go because some times are likely to sell out (some already are on opening day).
