The Giving Hat–an Easy Way to Give to St. Jude During the Holidays

Thanksgiving leftovers are all gobbled up and Giving Tuesday is now a memory, but you can still show you care about those who may be struggling this holiday season, especially the children fighting potentially fatal diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and one simple way to do this is through the ‘Giving Hat’.

It’s a knit cap that can help keep you warm this winter, but it’s much more than that, too.

It’s a tool that offers hope to children fighting for their lives.

The Giving Hat was created through the partnership St. Jude has with Kmart, and they believe it is a new way to ‘draw attention, heighten awareness, and raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases’.

The Giving Hat is sold exclusively at Kmart stores and online at Kmart.com.

There are three versions with messages embroidered on them inspired by the families at St. Jude, including ‘Laugh a Lot’, ‘Smile’, and ‘Give Thanks’.

For each $5 hat purchased, $1 is donated to St. Jude.

There are adorable bear ornaments available, too.
