The River Run 5k and Fun Run for Little River Elementary School
If you live in the Atlanta area, there’s an easy way to get out and get some exercise—with the kids—and help raise money for a local school. It’s all part of ‘The River Run’ 5k and Fun Run.
This happens to be where my daughter attends school, so I’m hoping it’ll have lots of people turning out on Saturday, March 12th.
If you register by March 2nd, you get a free t-shirt with registration and a discounted race fee.

It starts at Little River Elementary School at 3170 Trickum Road in Woodstock (Georgia—30188), with the fun run starting at 8am and the 5k at 8:30am.
You can come out and support the Little River Elementary School PTA by running or walking. The race will take place on paved streets around the school and nearby neighborhoods.
These are the fees:
Fun run entry fees
$15 early registration (1/4-3/2)
$18 day of (t-shirt not guaranteed)
5k entry fee
$20 early registration (1/4-3/2)
$25 day of (t-shirt not guaranteed)
Phantom runner entry fees (if you want to support the school, but not actually run)
$15 early registration (1/4-3/2)
$15 day of (t-shirt not guaranteed)
There will be awards for the Top 3 Male & Female in the following age groups: 10 and Under/ 11-14/ 15-19/ 20-24/ 25-29/ 30-34/ 35-39/ 40-44 / 45-49/ 50-54/ 55-60/ 60+.
The race is part of the 2016 Black Bag Race Series.
