#Zootopia Set for Dolby Cinema Screens at AMC, #Giveaway
(Note to readers: Disney PR hired me on behalf of Dolby Cinemas to share this information with you. As always, my opinion remains my own and I wouldn’t send you to a theater or movie I wouldn’t want to see myself. #Zootopia #DolbyCinema #ShareAMC #ad)
In America, they say no matter who you are or where you come from, you can become anything. Well, that’s also the situation in the ‘modern mammal metropolis’ of Zootopia, in the movie of the same name.
And, if you’ve ever felt like you have to prove yourself to the world, then you’re going to be able to identify well with Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin), a rookie who happens to be the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals.
In “Zootopia”, Officer Hopps is determined to prove herself, and jumps at the opportunity to crack a case. In this story, that means she has to partner with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia,” is a comedy-adventure directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled,” “Bolt”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”) and co-directed by Jared Bush (“Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”). It opens in theaters next Friday, March 4th.
My 10 year old is eager to see the movie when it’s released, and after hearing what it’s about, I can say I really want to watch it, too.
We’re planning to see it in Dolby Cinema™ at AMC Prime in Alpharetta…and guess what…we have two more four packs of tickets that we can give to some lucky readers!
Dolby Cinema is famous for its laser projection, lifelike sound, and ultimate comfort in theaters, including the AMC Prime. I figure that kind of experience will be kind of like being dropped in Zootopia with the rest of the animals for a couple hours. And I’m excited about it.
If you’re available to join us on Saturday, March 5th at 10am in Alpharetta, leave us a comment below and let us know what you wanted to be when you were a kid—what job you were sure you’d be great at doing.
We will randomly select two sets of winners (who get four tickets each) on Wednesday, March 2nd. You have until midnight EST on Tuesday, March 1st, to enter.
You don’t live near Alpharetta? Well, Dolby Cinemas is teaming up with theaters around the country. This is a list you can check to see if there’s one near you.

We would love to join for this movie! My kids get themselves into hysterics every time they see the preview.
As a kid, I always wanted to be a teacher. (And the dream came to fruition!) My daughter wants to be a vet (will need to overcome her fear of animals and needles first) and my son wants to be a police officer/actor/chef.

That cracks me up–she wants to be a vet but is afraid of animals. Love it!

As a kid, I wanted to be a beautician. Then it turned into an accounting major, in reality ended up in Human Resources.

Sounds like fun. I am thinking of taking my girls. But, they have soccer Saturday morning. I don’t know if we could get back to LR by 12. And, I don’t know what I thought I would be good at growing up. But, I know it wasn’t a math teacher.

I wanted to be a marine biologist but realized later that it involved less of petting animals and more medical blood and guts type things, so that was out 😉
