Frozen II’s Dangerous Secrets: The Story of Iduna and Agnarr

Odds are you know the story of Anna and Elsa. Every “Frozen” fan does. And you even know the story of Arandelle and the magical mist, from the sequel. And now, you can find out all about how their parents came to meet, and fall in love, then build their life together, thanks to “Dangerous Secrets”, the book by Mari Mancusi, set to be released by Disney Press on November 3rd.

It’s the love story of Elsa and Anna’s parents, shared in the new young adult novel, “Dangerous Secrets: The Story of Iduna and Agnarr”. And if you enjoyed getting to know Anna and Elsa, you’re really going to love hearing all about their parents when they were children.

It’s a story designed for the young adult crowd, but something older adults will appreciate (I speak from experience, reading it in two sittings, with activities for my teen daughter being what interrupted it from being a one-sitting read). All “Frozen” fans will want to soak up all the fun of the connection between Iduna and Agnarr, and feel real remorse for the sad circumstances that drove them to become so close. The twists,  turns, and secrets shared, and not shared, will have fans cheering for the couple throughout. We all know they end up together, or we’d have no Anna or Elsa, but it’s how they find their way together that fans will enjoy. The author captures their whimsical sides, and we learn early where some of the later mantras come from (‘Conceal, don’t feel’ ring a bell, anyone?). It’s a story you’ll want to read if you grew to love Anna and Elsa even a little bit.
