I haven’t always had the best luck in love, but one thing I do know is that it’s the little things that often matter most. A shoulder rub here, a compliment there can make all the difference in a day. With my husband, I know if I take time to make him coffee in the morning it means everything. I don’t drink it and really don’t like the smell but I know he can’t be without it. If I put that coffee in a special mug it’s even better. That’s just one way to show him I care. Another is to simply hold hands. I’m not big on PDA, but he really enjoys it, so walking hand in hand matters to him and is an easy way for me to show he matters to me. I like to know I am appreciated, especially with a note or card that says so. Hearing that gratitude is an incredible boost to my day.
See, these little acts of love are pretty simple. They don’t cost much, if anything. And in my opinion, they are exactly the kinds of things that will help keep love alive. That is why I adore the Mr. & Mrs. Love Collection Set from http://www.dayspring.com/.
It includes his and hers mugs (with a sweet little heart drawn at the bottom if the inside if the cup so you see it as you take your last gulp). It also includes a coupon book with vouchers for things like back rubs and an hour of TV watching together. And there is a book that has two sections…a his and hers, so you can write notes to him or about him and he can do the same. We are using our book to write notes about one kind thing we did for each other each day. We only just started this practice and it’s a nice way of remembering the good stuff when we may be angry or only want to look at the bad.
These products were sent to me to review and I have to say they’re pretty special, especially if you are into sentimental presents for others. I think this set would make a fabulous wedding present for couples about to begin their lives together.
