Have You Tried This Yet? Procter & Gamble Reaches Out to Moms
From makeup to clothes detergent, Procter & Gamble connects a lot of moms to a whole lot of products. And now, with a marketing program that involves what they call the “Pop Up Experience”, they are truly bringing the products to moms. The Pop-Up store offers consumers free demonstrations and product samples from brands such as Tide®, Bounty®, Pringles®, Charmin®, Febreze®, COVERGIRL®, and Olay® . The point is to allow consumers to experience first-hand the innovations and value each product offers. P&G sponsored a contest for bloggers to let them know about something they’ve never tried before. I was selected as one of those winners and was sent by the company to Miami to be part of the launch of the Pop Up store in South Beach. I have to say it was a blast having someone do my makeup, analyze my skin, and give me products to try out at home. While there, I talked with executives and brand representatives about what makes this so different.
