Holiday Gift Idea–Affordable Fine Art
I have such an appreciation for professional photographers…the way they see things so differently than the rest of the world and can take something ordinary and make it stunning. That’s exactly how I feel about the image in this post and the photographer, Ron Hamad. It’s the different angle of the item in the image that grabs me. I love the way the light sparkles on the glitter, too. Seeing it without true color makes my imagination wonder, was the ornament candy apple red, emerald green, or maybe a sapphire blue? No matter. It’s stunning without color.
If this is the kind of thing you appreciate, or you know someone who does, go ahead and add it to your holiday gift list.
Think fine art is out of your price range? Well, Ron Hamad is hoping to change that. He has had several fine art photography gallery shows, including one last May in SoHo.
However, “he wanted to create a way to have some of his fine art printed in a manner that would still be beautiful and alluring to the sophisticated palate, yet ultimately affordable”. So, he came up with http://www.fineartography.net.
Check the site and see if you can pick just one print. When I was offered a print to review recently I fell in love with the image you see in this post (Moon and Stars).
Note that these are not framed. When you order the print turnaround is about 3-5 days, and comes shipped in sturdy packaging. Rush orders are an option. The sizes of the prints are: 8×10, 11×14, 20×26, and 30×36.
The photographs are printed on a French Rag Photographique paper, a paper that is a 100% cotton museum grade Fine Art and photo paper. it is designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements and will last generations.
