Simplifying Your Supplement and Vitamin Needs- Quick Giveaway!
Does your vitamin aisle have you seeing sideways?
Is this better?
With a full time job, my own business, children from 17 to six years of age and a tennis addiction (I’m not even mentioning the blogging part here), I often feel exhausted, yet have found B12 can make all the difference, keeping me plugging through some very long days. Beyond that, I’m totally lost as to what vitamins and supplements my body can use more of. I admit I don’t have the healthiest diet and get little exercise beyond tennis. I know I’m not the only one wondering whether more Vitamin D could help, or if Vitamin C might give me a boost during cold season.
Well, I just discovered Centrum’s Nutrition Possible site that offers a complete assessment of my nutritional needs and helps me figure out what supplements might provide the extra kick I need for health and energy. It’s better than playing eenie-meenie-miney-moe on the overwhelming supplement aisle in the store (admit it, you’re confused, too). It only took me a minute and I liked the cool little icons (yep, the stress guy was designed especially for us moms, I’m sure!).
If you wonder what might help you, take the nutrition assessment, too. I promise it’s really quick. You can even download a coupon for Centrum products at the end.
Also, Centrum is giving one reader a $25 AMEX gift card if they come back here after the assessment and let us know what they were lacking. We must draw a winner by Monday night, so take the assessment right away and respond by 10pmEST on Monday, 2/13/12. Good luck! Here’s a link to the actual rules for the giveaway.
Note to readers: I am participating in a sponsored campaign hosted by One2One Network. I received incentives and am eligible for prizing. While all opinions stated are my own, I make no claims about NutritionPossible.com as a product or its effectiveness. #NutritionPossible

Totally lacking calcium. My body is not a fan of lactose so I avoid milk and cheese.

Calcium here too! I love milk, but have to watch when I drink it. I try to walk everyday! I used to take B-12 as a requirement for an INH plan I had to take, and I always felt great when I took it. That’s a thought too!

I’m lacking in calcium, too! I also don’t do well with milk (actually, I can’t stand it).

Beans, seafood, and dairy. This makes sense – I don’t like most seafood, bean, or dairy options! Looks like an omega3 supplement may be a good idea to add to my women’s multi-V.
Thx! Good info.

Says I need to eat more seafood (yuck) and veggies. The good thing is my prenatal vitamin is the only supplement they suggested. Pretty cool app.

Haha I am completely lacking in everything, so my answer was “We don’t have any … suggestions yet.” Wow. I am pretty unhealthy! Less than one glass of water per day, not many fruits/veggies, very low exercise… I’m their target audience! I am going to my medicine cabinet now to break out that bottle of vitamins I’ve been forgetting to take, and hopefully I will break out a sweat tomorrow doing SOMEthing!

It had no suggestions for me 🙁 I’m really not that healthy. Sheesh, I guess I balance my lack of cheese with my milk, yogurt and orange juice intake and I guess starting to work out in preparation for a triathlon put me a little on the healthy side, but what about the stress management?

Wow. Maybe you’re in better shape than you think? Is any of the stuff stressing you out stuff you can get help with?

Did you create an account first? I went through the assessment without creating an account and it didn’t give me any suggestions either. I had to create an account and redo the assessment for suggestions to show up.
