Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Diamond Edition–Review and Giveaway
Remember how much you loved 101 Dalmatians when you were a little kid? All those dogs…all those spots…and that super evil Cruella character? Well, Pongo, Perdita and their puppies are back for fun-filled adventure facing off with Cruelle De Vil, in the release of 101 DALMATIANS DIAMOND EDITION, out now on Blu-ray™+ Digital HD from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
My family was sent a copy for review and one to give away to one lucky StressFreeBaby reader. The girls decided to watch on a recent road trip to escape the cold and I have to say, I enjoyed the Bonus Features at the end as much as they liked watching this classic story.
My youngest is an animal lover, so it was a given that she’d fall in love with the dalmatians again, but getting to hear the back story of how the movie was put together was intriguing to all of us. The back stories may blow you away…for example, you’ll get to hear how Xerox essentially saved the show at a time when the movie industry was struggling and Disney animators were losing jobs. You’ll find out exactly how many spots are in this movie…and how the story even came to be written. There’s even a section on what makes Cruella the cruelest of all Disney villains.
There’s even an all-new animated short that has never been released before!

My favorite Disney villain is Ursula from The Little Mermaid. I like that she has magical powers and I really like the song she sings – Poor Unfortunate Souls.

My favorite Disney villian is Scar. He was one very bad kitty. He was so bad that he tried to kill his own brother and nephew. Thanks for the giveaway. 101 Dalmatians was my favorite movie as a child.

Oh, I have to love Ursula…or maybe Scar? I haven’t seen 101 Dalmatians in forever! But, I have to say, I’d love to play Cruella…she was a hoot at Disneyland!
