Zensah Compression Sleeves: How to Help Aching Muscles (Review #WhitetoBright)
(Note to readers: I was sent a pair of the Zensah Compression Sleeves to properly review them. I was not otherwise compensated and, as always, my opinion remains my own. #WhitetoBright)
It doesn’t take a triathlon or marathon to leave my muscles aching anymore…now, just a tough match on the tennis courts, or a couple hours on the ski slopes can have me hurting, but I found something that I think helps me recover quicker than I ever did before.
It’s the Zensah Ultra Calf and Shin Sleeve. It is designed to build circulation and ease muscle strain.
When you wear them, they feel like really tight leggings that stop before the knee.
The material is soft and breathable and has ribbing on the front and back that supports the calf and shin. Even the weaving creates upward gradient compression (that helps increase blood circulation and gets oxygen to the muscles faster).
The fabric is latex-free and known for its thermo-regulating ability to help keep the lower leg at the right temperature—warm or cool—when relief is needed. It also helps lock out moisture and bacteria.
It’s good for helping you recover after a workout, but even better for those with shin pain, poor leg circulation or muscle strains.
They sure saved me after a day of skiing recently.
And, in this gloomy winter weather, it’s easy to take a white pair and make them bright and happy.
I decorated this pair with hearts and am throwing them in my tennis bag this spring to remind me to love myself and to keep being good to myself—during a workout and after.
